（一）宗旨

本園提供學前教育服務已超過40多年，秉承基督教香港信義會以基督愛心為本，以孩童需要出發為宗旨。

本園以專業認知識、持熱心教育的精神為樑柱，為廿一世紀的香港新一代提供優質全人教育。培育孩童在靈、德、智、體、群、美各方面，獲得全面及均衡的發展。

ELCHK Shatin Lutheran Kindergarten (ELCHK) has been providing Early Childhood services for more than 51 years with the aim of nurturing each child with the love of Christ.

ELCHK teaches and trains the new generation of children with passion and professionalism. We strive to develop our students with well-rounded foundation spiritually, morally, intelligently, physically, socially, and Aesthetically.

（二） 使命

我們相信每個幼兒皆是獨立個體，學習潛力各有不同，因此，我們強調幼兒個人的成長，應按著其能力、需要和興趣持續發展。此外，我們一直以「孩童為本、愛心為本、美育為本」的精神，設計優良之學習環境，並配合優秀之教師：

孩童為本
為幼兒成長需要編排一套尊重和適切幼兒之課程，以幫助幼兒有全面及均衡的身心靈發展。

愛心為本
透過學校的生活，老師及家長的配合，家校同心，培養幼兒崇真之品德與健全之人格，讓幼兒在愛的環境中成長。

美育為本
以活動教學如音樂、體能、美藝及不同的專題學習Project-based等等，培養幼兒自主學習的精神，並欣賞身處的環境，並透過有意義的遊戲從中學習，激發其好奇心，成為一個快樂和主動的學習者。

ELCHK believes that each child is unique and possesses different learning potentials. Hence, we focus on the development of each child's growth based on their talents, needs, and interests.

We have a specially designed curriculum that suits the need of the children to learn to have a full and balanced education.

Love-Oriented
While at school and with the partnership of parents and school teachers, children will grow with Christ-like values and virtues under a loving school environment.

Aesthetics-Oriented
Our lessons are coupled with activities such as music, physical training, visual arts and project-based programs.

These activities and meaningful games will teach them how to appreciate various situations, stimulate their curiosity, to have initiative, and become joyful learners.
